Dog Boarding Policies & Agreement

We provide a safe and comfortable environment for your dog while you are away. Please review and follow these boarding requirements and policies.

Vaccinations:
Dogs must be current on rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and Bordetella vaccinations. Proof is required before boarding. Dogs must also have a negative intestinal parasite test and be on parasite prevention.

Health:
Dogs must be free of contagious illnesses and parasites, including fleas, ticks, and worms, and must not show signs of illness upon arrival. Fleas or ticks discovered during boarding will be treated at the owner's expense.

Age and boarding eligibility:
Puppies must be at least 16 weeks old and fully vaccinated. Senior dogs may require a veterinary certificate of good health. Female dogs must not be in heat during their boarding stay.

Behavior:
Aggressive or anxious dogs may not be accepted. Dogs must not show aggression in any manner, including aggression involving food, toys, or territory. Dogs must be able to interact safely with staff and other animals.
Special needs: Discuss behavioral concerns, medical conditions, allergies, and other special needs before booking so we can determine whether we can accommodate your dog.

Boarding Rates & Payment
First dog: $35 per night. Each additional dog sharing the same suite: $25 per night. Dogs requiring separate suites: $35 per dog, per night. Owners must specify whether dogs from the same household may share a suite.
Payment in full is due at pickup unless advance payment is required under the cancellation policy below.

Drop-Off & Pickup
Tuesday-Friday: Boarding drop-off is available during regular business hours before 5:00 p.m. Arrange your arrival and departure times when booking.
Saturday, Sunday & Monday: Drop-offs and pickups are available by appointment only from 8:00-9:00 a.m. and 5:00-6:00 p.m. Please schedule your arrival and departure within these windows.

Late pickup fee:
On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, pickups after the end of the scheduled pickup window (9:00 a.m. for morning pickups or 6:00 p.m. for evening pickups) incur a $35 late pickup fee. This fee is separate from any applicable additional night's boarding charge. Late pickup is subject to staff availability; payment of the fee does not guarantee availability outside the scheduled windows.

Checkout Charges - Seven Days a Week
Boarding is charged per night, regardless of drop-off time. Pickup by 1:00 p.m. carries no additional boarding charge for the pickup day. Pickup after 1:00 p.m. incurs one additional night's boarding charge at the applicable rate.
Bath or groom exception: If your dog is scheduled for a bath or groom on pickup day, no additional boarding charge applies for pickup after 1:00 p.m. Please wait for our ready-for-pickup text before coming to collect your dog. Normal bathing or grooming charges apply. See Bathing & Grooming below for pickup requirements.

For Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, choose the morning pickup window to avoid an additional night's charge. Pickups during the 5:00-6:00 p.m. window incur one additional night's charge unless the bath or groom exception applies.
Holidays: No drop-offs or pickups are available on holidays when the business is closed. Confirm holiday closures when booking and arrange arrival and departure before or after the holiday.
Authorized pickup: Only individuals authorized by the owner may pick up a dog. Authorized names must be listed in the account, and identification is required.

Bathing & Grooming
Request a bath or groom when making your boarding reservation. These services are charged separately at our regular prices; please inquire when booking. If your dog receives a bath or groom on departure day, the $35 late pickup fee and the additional night's boarding charge for pickup after 1:00 p.m. are waived, provided you pick up after receiving our ready-for-pickup text and before closing that day. This waiver does not cover pickups after closing. Please confirm closing time when scheduling.

Feeding & Medication
Provide your dog's usual food with clear instructions for portions and feeding times. All medications must be in their original containers with detailed administration instructions. Inform staff of any allergies or special medical needs.

Personal Belongings
Familiar toys and bedding are welcome. Label all items clearly. Take your leash and collar home unless someone else will be picking up your dog. We are not responsible for lost or missing belongings.

Illness & Emergency Veterinary Care
Provide current contact information and an emergency contact authorized to make decisions if you cannot be reached. In the event of an emergency, we will take your dog to the nearest veterinarian to our office, Tennessee Valley Animal Clinic. We will attempt to notify you or your designated emergency contact without delaying necessary emergency care.
The owner is responsible for veterinary charges related to their dog's illness or emergency, except where those charges result from proven negligence by JustFurPets Grooming LLC.

Cancellations & No-Shows
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice before your scheduled drop-off time to cancel a reservation. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice and no-shows will incur a charge equal to one night's boarding at the applicable rate for the reservation.
Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in required full prepayment for future reservations, loss of future boarding privileges, or both, at JustFurPets Grooming LLC's discretion.
When full prepayment is required under this policy, payment is due at booking and is nonrefundable if the client cancels or does not show. This requirement will be communicated before booking. No additional one-night cancellation fee will be charged when full prepayment is forfeited.

Liability & Client Acknowledgment
I release JustFurPets Grooming LLC from responsibility for injuries or illnesses, except in cases of proven negligence by the facility. By signing, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to the boarding requirements, rates, scheduling rules, checkout charges, veterinary-care provisions, and cancellation terms in this agreement.
If I cannot be reached, I authorize the emergency contact listed below to make decisions regarding my dog's care.
