Michelle Mansell, Owner/Groomer & Posey, poodle sidekick
"While I was born in Ohio, I have lived here in Tuscumbia all of my life. I have been married to Billy for 27 years. He has been in law enforcement 27 years as well and is retiring this year 2025. We have a 32-year-old son, Skyler, who lives and works in DC for the United States Senate.
I began working for veterinarians in my earlier years and picked up grooming along the way. During that time, I was a vet tech and had great interest in dermatology, ears problems and canine dentistry. Grooming became a passion that I could incorporate those skills into my everyday grooming craft. Give me dirty ears or a blackhead any day and I am happy!! (lol) I am also certified in animal CPR.
After all the years of working for others, I decided to dedicate the rest of my years to opening my own grooming salon. And so, I did in 2016. Fast forward to April 2023, almost 7 years to the day, I relocated to a larger, more spacious location in need of room to expand. I pride my grooming salon on being a stress-free environment for both employees and pets alike. I Love Harmony, and lots of it!!
If we have already met, thank you for your support and allowing me to be a part of your pet's life!! If we are about to meet, I am very much looking forward to meeting you and your pet(s). Together we can give your pet the ultimate care of hygiene in grooming." ~Michelle

Patrick Knight, Salon Manager, Groomer and Colorist.
Patrick began working with us over a year ago. He came to us as a human hairdresser and decided he wanted to change his path from human hair to dog hair. He had a natural knack for it and soon became very proficient with doodles, poodles and the like. He is also our colorist and salon manager. Had a natural knack for both of those as well. Dependable and well organized, you'll see him running around getting things done. The dogs love him. Ask for Patrick to groom your poodle or doodle!!!

Ashley has two adult children and 2 grandchildren. She has been with us since February of 2024. She began as a bather/assistant and quickly Worked her way up to groomer. She has a natural knack for it. Her grooming faves are applying her artistic abilities and making them look fabulous. One of the things she is adamant above is discovering underlying issues that pets may have that owners didn't realize, such as lumps and bumps that may need to be seen by a veterinarian.
"I really love working for JustFurPets Grooming. We are family oriented, a drama and stress-free environment which makes looking forward to coming to work so easy to do, which is very important to me. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your pet's life. It means the world to me!" ~Ashley

She loves working with the dogs one on one and getting to know them on a first name basis. Her fun part of the job is cleaning and plucking ears. The nastier the better!!
